We have been teaching in the Houston area and beyond for over 20 years. We teach in Clear Lake and are looking to return to Friendswood and Pearland after a hiatus of a few years.

We are the first and only Irish dance school south of downtown Houston, having taught in Pasadena, Deer Park, The East End, The Height, Friendswood, Pearland, Clear Lake, League City, Dickinson and Galveston.

Teachers:

Richard Tew, TMCRN/CRN.

Richard is a former Irish dance competitor and performer who qualified for the world Irish dance championships four times and is the winner of the senior men’s southern regional oireachtas (world qualifying event) in 2003. He has taught Irish dance all over the state of Texas and through video workshops, all over the world.

Becca Bryan, assistant teacher.

Becca Bryan has been Irish dancing for 13 years having started with former teacher CJ Gilroy before later joining the Tew Academy of Irish dance for just over five years. During that time she worked her way up from a beginner to an open champion Irish dancer having competed around the United States winning many awards before competiting at the prestegious World Irish Dance Championships, were she recieved a 14th place award for her soft shoe performance. Outside of competition, Becca become an assistant teacher then co-teacher and performance director for both theatrical productions and local performances. She now helps assists in the competition class and also in running local performances and competitions.
