New classes for the new year!

With 2026 being but days away, now is a great time to explore learning Irish dance at our school.

Lots of new opportunities to using your dancing including performances, competitions and community events.

We have new beginner kids’ classes Saturday’s 9-10 a.m. and a beginner adult class Sunday’s 12-1 p.m.!

No dance experience is needed!

My name is Richard Tew. I founded Tew Academy of Irish Dance over 15 years ago and have been teaching all over Texas since. For most of the time we have been open, we have concentrated our classes in the Houston area. I am a registered associate teacher with An Chomhdhail (pronounced An Cogal). They are based out of Dublin, Ireland. We are background checked and have experienced with teaching ages three through adult.
