Come join us for ceili dancing! This is particularly fun for adults looking for social dancing with others. It’s not as difficult as our solo dancing classes but allows you to learn one of our oldest, most traditional styles. It gave birth to country dancing and square dancing in America! My name is Richard Tew. I founded Tew Academy of Irish Dance over 15 years ago and have been teaching all over Texas since. For most of the time we have been open, we have concentrated our classes in the Houston area. I am a registered associate teacher with An Chomhdhail (pronounced An Cogal). They are based out of Dublin, Ireland. We are background checked and have experienced with teaching ages three through adult.
